Guidelines to be considered for a Johnson Controls Foundation grant:Nonprofit is requesting funding for programming that supports building smarter, healthier and more sustainable tomorrows and serves Milwaukee, another U.S. city with a strong Johnson Controls presence, or has a national or multi-community presence. Smarter Tomorrows: Education, particularly in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Math (STEAM) Healthier Tomorrows: Health & safety, including housing and homeownership and economic mobility programs More Sustainable Tomorrows: Environmental protection, preservation and related programs, including organizations that respond to natural disasters. For nonprofits in Milwaukee, programs involving the West Lawn, Thurston Woods or Havenwoods neighborhoods are encouraged. Nonprofit is well-established, with a board of directors representing leaders in a variety of disciplines. A Johnson Controls leader or philanthropy team member has given guidance to the nonprofit that a grant request would be welcomed.Ineligibility
