John R. Kiley Memorial Scholarship Grant

The John R. Kiley Memorial Scholarship, offered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, provides need-based financial assistance of up to $1,500 for students pursuing a Bachelor's Degree. Applicants must have a GPA of at least 3.25 and be enrolled or planning to enroll in college. Iowa residents can attend any institution, while Illinois residents may attend colleges in Iowa only. This scholarship emphasizes financial need, leadership, and academic merit.

Today, we award nearly $600,000 annually in scholarships to students in the Quad Cities and beyond.

Eligibility

Applicant must be enrolled or plan to enroll as a college student working toward the completion of a Bachelors Degree in any subject.Applicants with Iowa residence will be eligible to attend any university or college in or out of the state of Iowa.Applicants with Illinois residence will be eligible to attend a university or college in Iowa only.Applicants must have at least a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent average). The selection criteria for this scholarship include financial need; leadership ability; merit based on school activities, community and personal activities and work experience; and achievement based on high school or undergraduate grades.
