Morency Family Scholarship The Morency Foster Youth Scholarship is intended to assist current foster care young adults to better themselves through continuing education. The Morency Family Scholarship was established to assist young adults with bettering themselves through continuing education and/or training. The primary focus of the scholarship is to assist individuals who financially might not otherwise be able to continue their education or training after graduation from high school. The number of scholarships awarded may vary from year to year. The target is to award at least two scholarships per year – one each to an Iowa and to an Illinois resident. Need-based: Yes. Amount: Up to $2,000 a year. Renewable: Yes, until graduation, or until 25 years of age, whichever comes first. Renewal Conditions: Maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and continue to meet other scholarship criteria.Eligibility
