The Special Initiatives Fund (SIF), administered by the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Seattle, is a vital source of support for local Jewish organizations and community programs. SIF provides grants to the Western Washington Jewish community to support innovation and capacity-building, strengthening our region and laying a foundation for a vibrant thriving Jewish community, now and for years to come. Women's Endowment Fund Grants WEF Grants provide up to $10,000 for programs and projects that improve the lives of girls and women in the Western Washington Jewish community. Grants are awarded every two years. Funding Focus WEF Grants support programs that promote social change by empowering and improving the lives of women and girls in the Western Washington Jewish community.

Eligibility

You can learn more about this opportunity by visiting the funder's website. Programs must serve a minimum of 15 participants each year. The program must be an ongoing program of the organization that has run for at least one full fiscal year and be guaranteed to continue for the two-year duration of the grant. Organizations may only request funding for one program per grant cycle. Any Jewish organization in Western Washington that is a 501(c)(3), fiscally sponsored, or is presumed to be according to IRS regulations (e.g. synagogues).Jewish non-profit organizations outside of Western Washington, but within the state of Washington, may still be eligible if they are able to demonstrate that they serve a significant Jewish population from Western Washington.Organizations are required to have been in operation for a minimum of two full fiscal years by January 2023 to be eligible.

Ineligibility

Capital funding proposals will not be accepted.
