Jeri Eiserman, RRT Professional Education Research Fellowship Grant

The Jeri Eiserman, RRT Professional Education Research Fellowship, funded by the American Respiratory Care Foundation, supports innovative research in respiratory care and airway management. This fellowship honors Jeri Eiserman's contributions to the field and includes awards for high-quality abstracts presented at the AARC Congress. Selected fellows receive a plaque, travel expenses, and registration, promoting advancements in respiratory health through research and education.

NOTE: This fellowship will not be awarded in 2025 due to the modernization of the ARCF.
Research Fellowships/Abstract Awards
All fellows will be selected by ARCF Trustees from researchers having high quality abstracts accepted for presentation at the AARC Congress. Since all accepted abstracts are considered no formal application is required. Under special circumstances determined by the ARCF Board of Trustees, fellowships may be awarded to highly qualified researchers identified through other sources.
Each award consists of a plaque, airfare, one night lodging, and registration for the AARC Congress.
Jeri Eiserman, RRT Professional Education Research Fellowship
This fellowship is designed to support original university hospital research in respiratory care and airway management. Projects using bench models, animal model or human subjects are encouraged.

Eligibility

All authors must disclose all industry relations for the previous 2 years. It is expected that some authors will have financial and other ties to commercial entities related to products, services, or other aspects of the abstract, either at the time of the submission or previously. We do not consider such potential conflicts of interest to be unethical.However, failure to fully disclose such potential conflicts is unethical.If the study was conducted in an industry laboratory, that must be disclosed.

Ineligibility

Abstracts submitted by industry will not be accepted.Abstracts will not be accepted if ghost written.Abstracts will not be accepted if there is an appearance of industry bias, whether or not conflict of interest has been disclosed.
