Jefferson R. Voss Education Fund

Zebra Youth's education fund provides financial support to fill gaps in educational funding for youth members.

Geographic Scope: Orange County, Florida (Central Florida)

Focus Areas:

• GED programming and testing
• Community college tuition and expenses
• Career and technical school tuition and expenses
• Zebra Youth Scholarship at the University of Central Florida

Eligibility:

• Must be a Zebra Youth Member
• Ages 13-24 (implied from organization's target population)
• LGBTQ+ youth and at-risk youth

Important Notes:

• Zebra Youth is NOT intended to be the sole source of support
• Scholars are expected to secure as much alternative funding as possible
• No guarantee that financial support will be the same each year or provided each year
• University of Central Florida scholarship must be applied for through UCF directly

How to Apply

1. Become a Zebra Youth Member - Complete membership application process first
2. Contact Zebra Youth - Reach out to info@zebrayouth.org with questions about the education fund
3. For UCF Scholarship - Apply directly through University of Central Florida
4. Submit Funding Request - Work with Zebra Youth staff to apply for educational funding support
