Summary
The Jason Debus Heigl Foundation Grant supports nonprofit organizations dedicated to animal welfare in the U.S. It aims to maximize the benefit to animals through education, spay and neuter initiatives, and positive advocacy. The foundation focuses on impactful programs, encouraging grants that align with their mission to end animal overpopulation and cruelty. Eligible applicants must be registered 501(c)(3) nonprofits, while individuals and political lobbying efforts are excluded from funding.Overview
Grants The Jason Heigl Foundation partners with select nonprofit organizations across the United States whose guiding principles are aligned with our fundamental goals. We seek to support dynamic, proactive groups capable of delivering successful programs that: Reach: Benefit as many animals as possibleEfficiency: Maximize awareness, education, and efficiencyResults: Produce measurable outcomesChange: Promote positive, lasting impactLeverage: Build support from additional sources Our grant recipients are on the front lines — leading adoption and foster programs, rescue and transport services, obedience training, pet care education, and the fight against the inhumane treatment of animals. Together, we promote the adoption of companion pets from local shelters and strongly discourage purchasing animals from pet stores supplied by commercial puppy factories known as “puppy mills.” We are fierce advocates of a compassion revolution — a collective effort by animal advocates nationwide to end overpopulation and cruelty. This may seem like an overwhelming challenge, but impossible tasks can be accomplished if we take them on step by step. Grant Focus Our funding program is currently focused on providing mass free spay/neuter surgeries, which we believe have the greatest nationwide impact on animals. Applications for this type of funding must be submitted through the Namaste Initiative page. For all other funding requests, we invite you to complete a Grant Application.Eligibility
