Angel Grants

Overview: Angel Grants is the foundation's broad program providing funds to rescues, facilities, individuals, and organizations to help with front-line rescue efforts.

Funding Focus

Funds support:
• Shelter dogs in need of medical care
• Veterinary bills paid on behalf of individuals in need
• Supplies, AC units, pools, sail shades, and enrichment items for large and rural shelters
• Dogfighting survivors and organizations that save and rehabilitate them
• Front-line rescue efforts aligned with the mission to save pit bull type dogs by all means necessary

Eligible Applicants

• Rescues
• Facilities
• Individuals
• Organizations
• 501(c)3 tax-exempt organizations under the Internal Revenue Code

Ineligible Funding

• Organizations that do not qualify as 501(c)3 tax-exempt under the Internal Revenue Code
• Political lobbying or legislative activities
• Religious activities
• Organizations that discriminate on the basis of age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, disability, political affiliation, or religious belief

Review Process

• Submissions reviewed for alignment with mission and funding priorities
• Review timeline: up to 12 weeks (may vary based on request volume and SUFP's financial obligations)
• Approved applicants contacted via email for next steps
• Declined applicants will not be contacted

Terms & Conditions

• Recipients required to sign Angel Grant agreement terms
• Payment structure: 50% upon approval, 50% upon receipt of required grant reporting information
• Failure to comply disqualifies organization from future SUFP grants or support
