Specifically:Arts and culture grants must be used to support local groups that perform traditional and folk arts, not for the pop culture of the day.Historical preservation grants may be used for physical restoration of buildings and for the maintenance of monuments, sculptures, and other historic items important to the community.Poverty grants may be used to support programs that help lift people out of poverty.Grants for community enrichment may include beautification to public areas.
