All grant applications must satisfy the Foundation’s eligibility requirements and restrictions irrespective of grant size. Arts and Culture Our Foundation is dedicated to supporting the arts and culture as essential elements that enrich and define our communities. Civic and Public Affairs Our Foundation is dedicated to supporting organizations and initiatives that promote civic engagement and strengthen public affairs. Education Our Foundation is committed to supporting educational initiatives that provide equitable access to learning and foster the development of critical skills for individuals of all ages. Health Our Foundation is committed to supporting initiatives that improve health and well-being, with a focus on promoting access to quality care and addressing health disparities. Human Services Our Foundation is dedicated to supporting human services initiatives that address the immediate and long-term needs of individuals and families, particularly those facing challenges such as poverty, homelessness, and hardship.

Eligibility

Organizations that receive grants from the Foundation in two consecutive years must skip an entire year before reapplying. organizations may not submit grant applications in any two consecutive grant cycles.The Foundation provides grants throughout the United States, but tries to allocate at least one-third of its grant resources to organizations helping those in the West Texas area.  Applications for specific programs or projects, capital projects, and general operations are considered.Endowment grants are rare.Our Foundation’s charter restricts grants to only 501(c)(3) entities.Because of our charter restrictions we are unable to provide grants to any organization that does not have 501(c)(3) status.

Ineligibility

In general, grants are not made for purposes of:Church or seminary construction.Annual fundraising drives, galas and other similar types of fundraising events.Support of single artistic events or performancesSupport or establish an endowment.
