How to Apply

Fact (page-stated): Process is by Letter of Inquiry (LOI) then invitation. Organizations that meet the interest areas and applicant requirements submit an LOI ('LOI 2026 COCM'); LOIs are evaluated by Chi Omega Christmas Market (COCM) membership for eligibility, feasibility, sustainability, and the organization's ability to plan, implement, evaluate, and sustain the project. Full grant applications are BY INVITATION ONLY after LOI review; grants are awarded by a vote of the COCM membership. Applicant requirements: minimum request of $50,000; 501(c)(3) for a minimum of three years; headquartered and providing services within Dallas County; consideration given for endowment. Organizations that received COCM funds in 2023, 2024, or 2025 are ineligible (may reapply 3 years after receiving funds). Does NOT fund: organizations/services outside Dallas County, chapters of national organizations funded by their national office, for-profits, major building/capital campaigns (program-specific capital may be considered), conferences/benefits, individuals, projects promoting religious or political doctrine, research, or operating deficits/debt. Questions: cocmbeneficiaryfiles@gmail.com. Flag (re-scrape): the LOI submission deadline date is not stated on the captured beneficiary-application page.
