We recognize that sometimes the need is great, and we welcome charitable 501(c)(3) organizations to apply to our corporate grants program. There is not a maximum amount we consider, most grants awarded are between $10,000 and $25,000. Requests for less than $10,000 should be submitted through Charitable Giving Fundraising Support application. Organizations are eligible to receive a grant once per year.

Eligibility

The organization must:Be located within 50 miles of a James Avery retail or corporate location (other retail locations are not qualifying locations)Serve the community through one of our three pillars of givingProvide proof of 501(c)(3) or similar nonprofit statusNot have been awarded a grant in the past 12 months from James AverySubmit a completed application and all required documentation to be considered for supportProvide a proof of performance report within 12 months of receiving grant fundingWe only consider organizations and programs that:Provide direct services to beneficiaries and focus on assisting communities we serveDemonstrate effective organizational, programmatic and financial objective setting and managementHave clearly stated objectives, long-range plans and active participation from a governing board of directorsProvide evidence of broad-based support, with an accounting of funds received from public and private sourcesDescribe accurately and completely the target population to be servedProvide evidence the proposed program/project is a response to a valid needProvide documentation of previous program success if a continued programShow program/project sustainability when James Avery grant support ends

Ineligibility

Grants are not given to support:An individual or familyTravel and/or conference expensesFor profit organizations of any kindScholarship fundsGolf tournaments, parades or racesGalas and fundraising eventsSeminars, reunions, team recognition events or prizes for partiesEndowment funds or reduction of debtPolitical parties, government entities, organizations or candidatesBeauty pageants, parades, sporting events,Books, films, audio, video, documentaries or other media productionsNonprofit organizations headquartered, or providing support, outside of the U.S.
