ITSS Best Presentation by a Postdoctoral Trainee Award Grant

The ITSS Best Presentation by a Postdoctoral Trainee Award recognizes outstanding contributions from postdoctoral trainees in Immunotoxicology. Applicants must be ITSS members and submit an original abstract for the SOT Annual Meeting, a supporting letter from a mentor, and an extended abstract detailing their research role and project significance. Awards include an engraved plaque and a cash prize of $500, decided by the ITSS Awards Committee.

This award will be presented to the postdoctoral trainees whose work in the field of Immunotoxicology is deserving of recognition. For full consideration:
The original abstract submitted to the SOT Annual Meeting, and the nominee plans to attend the meeting.A letter of support from the mentor describing the impact of the work and the role of the postdoctoral trainee in the project. We encourage all mentors to take a minute to nominate their postdoctoral trainees so they can be recognized for their work.An extended abstract of the project. A description of the role of the applicant in the research and the project's significance to the immunotoxicology field should be included. Submission should be provided as a single file. The text should not exceed 2 pages (font size >10pt, >0.5in margins). Up to 2 relevant figures may be included below the text. The reviewers will score quality of the content of the extended abstract, project rationale and significance of the results presented. Please note that only extensions of the accepted abstracts may be considered.
Final decisions will be made by the ITSS Awards Committee (Chaired by the Senior Councilor). An engraved plaque and cash award ($500) will be presented to the recipient of this award.
