Overview

The Inhalation and Respiratory Specialty Section is pleased to offer a special $500 award for the 2026 Annual Meeting on behalf of the Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM). This award is open to all SOT members and will be given to a trainee who is either evaluating the effects of inhaled toxicants using New Approach Methodologies (NAMs), advancing exposure science, improving understanding of material composition, and/or contributing to risk assessment research. Applicants should submit a one-page summary describing the purpose, approach, key results, and presumed impact of their findings as they relate to the topic of the award. Copy of pending abstract for platform or poster presentation for presentation at the SOT Annual Meeting. A letter of support highlighting the candidate is also required from their mentor.
