Eligible Applicants:

• Iowa farmers
• Must be actively engaged in agricultural operations
• Own or operate on-farm fuel tanks in Iowa

What the Program Funds:

• B11 (11% biodiesel): 25 cents-per-gallon credit
• B20 (20% biodiesel): 50 cents-per-gallon credit
• Maximum credit per farmer: $500
• Fuel must be purchased for on-farm tanks used in active agricultural operations
• First-come, first-served basis

Equipment Compatibility:

• Most farm equipment manufacturers support B20 biodiesel blends (Case IH)
• John Deere and Caterpillar support up to B100 depending on model year
• Farmers should verify equipment compatibility before applying

Program Funding:

• Originally launched with $10,000
• Iowa Soybean Association and Iowa Biodiesel Board added $10,000
• Western Iowa Energy, Western Dubuque Biodiesel, and Chevron Renewable Energy Group each contributed $5,000
• Total available funding: $35,000 (as of September 2022)

Eligibility Requirements:
