NOTE: The Grant Committee meets on the third Monday of March, June, September, and December. Application deadlines are the first Friday in March, June, September, and December. Please be aware of these deadlines and submit your applications in advance of the meeting prior to the date you need a response. If you have missed the deadline and your request is time sensitive, we will do our best to review your application prior to our next regularly scheduled meeting. Charitable Giving Our vision is to positively affect the lives of every person, business & organization within the communities we serve. Our Institution for Savings Charitable Foundation, established in 1997, provides a vehicle to share our success with the communities that are responsible for that success. Focus Areas: The Foundation focuses its giving in the following areas: Economic and Community Empowerment This includes programs which focus on promoting and developing access to safe and affordable housing, and environmental programs which support community revitalization efforts. Youth Development This includes initiatives that support youth through social, public education, athletic or cultural programs. Arts & Culture This includes programs and organizations that provide art and cultural programs that enrich our communities. Health and Human Services This includes programs and organizations that strive to enhance the health and well-being of children, families, and senior citizens in our communities.

Through the Grants Committee, the Institution for Savings Charitable Foundation awards funds to organizations in Amesbury, Beverly, Boxford, Byfield, Gloucester, Groveland, Hamilton, Ipswich, Middleton, Newburyport, Newbury, Rockport, Rowley, Salem, Salisbury, Topsfield, Wenham, West Newbury and the surrounding communities designated as charities under IRS section 501(c)(3).

Ineligibility

Paper applications and/or email requests for funding greater than $500 will not be accepted.
