Inova Health Equity Grants

The Inova Health Equity Grants aim to enhance health equity among under-resourced communities in Northern Virginia. By addressing specific community needs identified in the Inova Community Health Needs Assessments, these grants support programs focused on Behavioral Health, Health Access, and Economic Stability. Organizations eligible for funding must be tax-exempt and operate within the evaluated areas. Inova prioritizes partnerships with BIPOC-led organizations to create meaningful social impact.

The purpose of the Inova Health Equity Opportunity is to improve health equity and address community needs described in the Inova Community Health Needs Assessments. The target population is identified as under-resourced communities with unmet health needs in the listed CHNA service areas. The objectives of the proposed program/project should be clear, reasonable, and attainable, with measurable impact on the addressed need(s).
Inova is dedicated to supporting programs and opportunities that make a difference in the quality of life, health, and welfare of the communities it serves. Inova seeks to harness the collective power of community partners, agencies, and organizations to create positive social impact, however is limited in the number of programs/projects that it can support.

Eligibility

To receive funding, an organization with interest in submitting a grant request must meet the following criteria:Tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.Located in and serve residents in one of the areas evaluated by the Community Health Needs Assessments.Focus area of Behavioral Health, Health Access, and/or Economic Stability.Organizations may submit one Inova Health Equity Opportunity Application that focuses on Behavioral Health, Health Access, and/or Economic Stability
