Geographic Scope: Greeley-Evans School District 6, Colorado
Overview: The Success Foundation's Innovative Learning Grant Program provides opportunities for District 6 staff to develop and advance projects and programs that incorporate Colorado State Academic Standards in innovative and creative ways. The overarching goal is to increase student success and engagement in District 6 schools.
Program Details
Award Amount: Generally up to $2,500. Funding requests exceeding $2,500 will be considered on an individual basis with submission of a supplemental narrative and budget explaining the need for additional funds.
Grant Cycles: Two cycles per school year
Eligibility Requirements
- Applicants: District 6 employees only (not external organizations)
- Student Focus: Must serve students in Greeley-Evans School District 6
- Academic Standards: Projects/Programs must incorporate standards from at least two of the nine Colorado Academic Standard Areas: - Visual and Performing Arts - Comprehensive Health and Physical Education - Computer Science - Mathematics - Reading, Writing and Communicating - Science - Social Studies - World Languages
- Alignment: Must align with the goals, standards, technology preferences, and strategic plan of District 6
- Principal/Supervisor Approval: Must be approved before submission
- Implementation Timeline: Project must be scheduled for implementation in the designated school year
- Fund Usage: Funds must be used for the purpose requested; changes in use are not allowed after award
Financial Requirements
- All funds not spent by May 31st of the year the grant is received must be returned to The Success Foundation
- Base budget should not exceed $2,500

Application Process

3. Principal/Supervisor Approval: Obtain approval from your principal or supervisor prior to submission

Post-Award Reporting
- Grant Evaluation Form: Required by August 31 of the award year
- Required Content: - Summary of grant activity and success level - Number of participants and learner outcomes - Evidence of Colorado Academic Standards integration - Student impact story - Accounting of fund expenditure - Photographs (with proper photo release documentation) - Quote about positive influence on students
Note: No further grant requests will be considered until the evaluation report has been completed.
