Innovation in Education Grant

Alternate Name: Paul Ruth Innovation in Education Grant

Overview: The Innovation in Education Grant fuels bold, creative projects that help students grow. Grants are open to all full-time PreK–12 teachers in Lafourche Parish, as well as school clubs and club sponsors. There is no limit to the number of applications that may be submitted from each public school within the parish.

Award Amount: Up to $3,000 per grant

Annual Funding: $50,000 for 2025-2026 school year

Geographic Scope: Lafourche Parish, Louisiana

Eligibility:

  • Full-time Lafourche Parish School District teachers

  • School clubs and club sponsors

  • Multiple submissions allowed per school

  • No limit on number of applications per public school
  • Focus Areas: The foundation is looking for:

  • Innovation: Not just new technology, but new thinking
