Infant & Toddler Child Care Expansion Grant

Purpose: To increase the availability of child care for children birth to two in Buncombe County.

Funding Partner: The Biltmore Company and Buncombe Partnership for Children

Geographic Scope: Buncombe County, NC

Focus Areas: Addresses the documented shortage of child care slots for infants and toddlers.

Eligible Uses of Funds:

  • Staff hiring bonuses

  • Capital improvements to infant/toddler spaces

  • Furniture and equipment purchases

  • Outdoor environments

  • Other costs associated with providing child care to infants and toddlers
