Buncombe County Child Care Relief Fund

Purpose: To support child care centers in Buncombe County to rebuild and reopen following community crisis/disaster.

Geographic Scope: Buncombe County, NC

Focus Areas:

• Rebuilding and reopening child care centers
• Supporting operational continuity for children's learning
• Enabling business operations and family employment
• Infrastructure repairs and improvements

Eligible Uses of Funds:

• Repair and restoration costs needed to reopen facilities
• Infrastructure improvements threatened to put providers out of business
• Ongoing support through Child Care Resources team

Eligible Applicants: Child care providers in Buncombe County

Context: Recognizes that child care centers operate on tight budgets and require thousands of dollars in repairs following community disruption.
