Overview

The purpose of this fund is to support small to mid-sized 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that have arts and culture as core of their mission. This is a broad yet competitive fund which supports organizations physically located in and/or operate in one or more of seven counties of the Community Foundation’s service area: Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Monroe, Washtenaw, Livingston and St. Clair. We anticipate proposals that reflect the importance of organizations and programming that: Increase accessibility—ensure affordable, high-quality arts experiences reach all corners of Southeast Michigan.Boost organizational capacity—enable growth in programs and operations.Drive regional economic impact—position arts as a key contributor to community vitality.
