Impact100 Genesee County Grant

Impact100 Genesee County is dedicated to providing grants to nonprofits that focus on enhancing community welfare through various sectors, including arts, education, environment, and health. Eligible organizations must be 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, based in Genesee County, and meet specific financial criteria. The initiative prioritizes projects that support underserved populations and address critical community needs, ensuring impactful use of funds within two years.

Eligibility

Organizations eligible to apply for an Impact100 Genesee County grant must be:Tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization.Located in Genesee County, serving residents primarily from the county.Past Impact100 Genesee County grantees of restricted grants must wait 3 years from the date of their award before re-applying.In possession of at least two full years (24 months) of independently prepared, audited, or reviewed financial statements.Have annual operating budget below $5,000,000.Each organization may submit only one grant application per year.Grant funds need to be used within 2 years.

Ineligibility

Grants will not be provided for:Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding.Individuals or private foundations.Activities that are religious or political in nature.Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general capital campaigns.Funding proposals that utilize less than the full grant award.
