IMPACT BH Community Lead RFP

Program Name: IMproving Perinatal Access, Coordination, and Treatment: Behavioral Health (IMPACT BH) - Community Lead Position

Funder: Colorado Perinatal Care Quality Collaborative (CPCQC) in partnership with Colorado Behavioral Health Administration (BHA)

Geographic Scope: Primarily rural or frontier counties in Colorado that meet specific eligibility criteria

Program Purpose

Funds community-based organizations to serve as Community Leads to coordinate and strengthen local perinatal behavioral health services. Community Leads facilitate local perinatal continuum of care working groups and promote communication, coordination, and trust across organizations serving pregnant and postpartum people.

County Eligibility Requirements

Counties must meet the following criteria: 1. Are primarily rural or frontier 2. Have not previously participated in IMPACT BH 3. Have at least one local birthing hospital participating in CPCQC's Turning the Tide or SPARK programs 4. OR are counties without a birthing hospital where majority of perinatal population receive care in an adjacent county meeting the above requirements

  • Serving uninsured, under-insured, and/or Medicaid-eligible birthing people, mothers, infants, and families in their local communities

July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2026

  • Serve as lead organization for coordinating local perinatal behavioral health efforts
  • Promote communication, coordination, and trust among clinical and community-based providers
  • Facilitate local perinatal continuum of care working groups
  • Collective action and shared learning to strengthen perinatal behavioral health services
  • Enhance local perinatal behavioral health solutions
