Program Description: Impact100 Owensboro awards grants to nonprofits in the community across five focus areas. Each Focus Group selects a single finalist to compete for the $100,000 grant at the Annual Meeting.
Focus Areas
Nonprofits may apply for grant funding in one of the following focus areas:- Arts & Culture: Initiatives that cultivate, develop, and enhance the cultural, artistic and historic climate of the Greater Owensboro area
- Education: Initiatives that further the educational process or improve access to education for children and/or adults in the Greater Owensboro area
- Family: Initiatives that strengthen and enhance the lives of children and families living in the Greater Owensboro area
- Health & Wellness: Initiatives that improve the mental and/or physical well-being of people living in the Greater Owensboro area
- Environment & Recreation: Initiatives that will restore, preserve, revitalize or enhance the facilities, surroundings and/or recreational opportunities of the Greater Owensboro area
Eligibility Requirements
- 501(c)(3) Status: Must be defined as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code
- Geographic Service Area: Must serve the Greater Owensboro Area
- Good Standing: Proof of good standing and current registration with State of Kentucky Secretary of State required
Application Policies
- Organizations may submit applications in only one Focus Area
- Organizations may request less than or equal to the $100,000 maximum
- Organizations with proposals requesting more than $100,000 cannot submit to this grant
- Previously unfunded proposals may be resubmitted
