Overview

Note:  The Trust Fund Board of Trustees (the Board) accepts grant applications on a rolling basis, reviews grant applications and makes grant decisions quarterly. The Trust Board meets the third Tuesday of January, April, July and October to review grant applications. Applications should be submitted for review at least two weeks prior to one of these meetings. Immanuel Lutheran Church Immanuel Lutheran Church is a congregation of all ages and backgrounds gathered to worship God, walk with one another in our faith journeys, and reach out to the community with compassion. We welcome people new to our faith community and invite them to share our ministry. Our congregation has deep roots in the community, yet we seek to respond to our constantly changing culture. From our worship services to our preschool, we are dedicated to spreading God's word and living lives to reflect God's love for the world. Awarding Grants Since the first grants were awarded, the Trust Fund has assisted a variety of programs. Here are some examples of grants given in the three priority areas: Our Congregation The Trust supports unique opportunities and projects that fall outside the scope of the Immanuel Lutheran Church operating budget. Stipends to members attending the Lay School of MinistryHelping youth attend youth gatheringsProviding support of members attending seminarySupporting a program in the congregation that gathers members to prepare and freeze meals that can be provided for members with emergency needsProviding sign language interpretation for a hearing impaired confirmation student Our Community The Trust supports humanitarian programs based in the Chippewa Valley.
