  • Physical Award: Golden Apple trophy

    • Eligibility:

  • Position: Classroom teachers currently teaching grades 9-12

  • Experience: At least 5 years of teaching (completed 4 full years)

  • Commitment: Must be committed to continue teaching in Highland Park/Highwood communities for at least 2 years after receiving award

  • School: Must be teaching at Highland Park High School

    • Nomination Process:

  • Eligibility to Nominate: Administrators, colleagues, parents, and students (Family members and self-nominations NOT allowed)

  • Contact: Nomination materials mailed to each nominated teacher

    • Geographic Scope: Highland Park and Highwood, Illinois
