GO LANE GO Transportation Grant

Overview: The LTAA GO LANE GO Transportation Grant program provides funding for student transportation to programs or activities for Lane Tech students. Whether for college visits, field trips, or academic and athletic competitions, the program is dedicated to expanding horizons and creating access to opportunity for Lane Tech's high-potential students.

    Purpose & Focus

  • Support: Educational enhancements, college readiness, and access to higher education
  • Primary Goal: Reducing or eliminating barriers to access for all Lane students
  • Focus Areas:
  • - College visits - Field trips - Academic competitions - Athletic activities - Programs/activities expanding horizons for students

  • Serves Lane Tech students (Chicago, IL)

    Award Details

  • Award Type: Non-transferable
  • Eligible Uses: Student transportation to programs or activities (bus, lodging, meals)
  • Ineligible Uses: Salaries, stipends, gift cards
  • Funding Limitation: One application per program

    Evaluation Criteria

    Applications evaluated on:
  • Program innovation
  • Number of students impacted
  • Creating opportunity for low-income students
  • Lack of available funding from conventional sources
