Horizons Grants Program - Enrichment Grants

Program Overview: Smaller Horizons Enrichment Grants are available throughout the year as funds are available. These grants support the presentation of work, study, training, artistic promotion, purchase of equipment, or travel.
- Up to $1,000 per grant
Award Amount
- Applicants: Any individual artists, nonprofit organization, or local governmental unit in Saline County may apply
- Individual Artists: Must have been a resident of Saline County for at least one year before the application due date
- Nonprofit Organizations: Must be incorporated and recognized as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service
- Unincorporated Groups: Also encouraged to apply by locating an eligible partner to serve as a fiscal agent

- Available from February 1 – November 15 each year
- Deadline: 4 weeks before the start of the proposed project (6 weeks before the start for FIRST-TIME APPLICANTS)

- Horizons is made possible by private contributions from more than 50 individuals, foundations, and businesses in partnership with the Salina Arts & Humanities (SAH) Foundation
- The SAH Foundation has provided over $1,000,000 in support of more than 550 Horizons Grants since 1986
