Adena Health Foundation The foundation is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Adena Health. This nonprofit corporation functions primarily as a fundraising organization to support the health system and the communities it serves. The foundation is separately incorporated as tax-exempt under IRC 501(c)(3) and as a supporting organization under IRC 509(a)(3). Several scholarship opportunities are available for anyone living in Adena’s nine-county coverage area interested in pursuing a career in one of a number of disciplines connected with health care. The Hope for our Future scholarships are for students pursuing a career that could be part of a health system. While this includes the positions you would normally associate with health care such as doctors, nurses, therapists, aides, it can also be accounting, finance, legal, human resources or any job found within a health system. Eligibility

Scholarships are available to any high school student residing in one of the counties Adena Health System considers to be part of its service area who is pursuing an education within the field of health care.Those counties include: Ross, Fayette, Pickaway, Highland, Jackson, Scioto, Vinton, Pike, and Hocking Applicants must have a high school Grade Point Average of at least 3.0 and be receiving a high school diploma or have a GED score of at least 550 to be considered. Employees of Adena Health System are eligible. Decisions on the awarding of scholarships apply equally to all without regard to race, color, creed, national origin, age, gender, religion or disability.
