Overview The Honda USA Foundation supports society in the area of Mobility by strategically collaborating with like-minded organizations to drive sustainable change in marginalized communities throughout the nation where Honda operations are located. The Honda USA Foundation Mobility Pillar Award Foundation Award: The Joy and Freedom of Mobility Description: The Honda USA Foundation envisions a world where each person is empowered to dream and fulfill their own life’s potential. We seek to fund programs that remove barriers and expand access and opportunities for individuals with disabilities, ensuring that the joy and freedom of mobility can be experienced by all. Applications for education, awareness, and infrastructure programs may include but not limited to: Therapeutic or adaptive programsComprehensive care programs Mobility modifications, accommodations, and assistive technology Program Funding Eligibility Criteria Honda and the Honda USA Foundation provide support based on the following criteria. Please review all eligibility criteria before applying for funding. Organizations may apply for more than one pillar award category from either Honda or the Honda USA Foundation. However, an organization cannot apply for both Honda and Honda USA Foundation funding for the same program. Year-over-year, certain CSR pillar awards may not always be open for funding, subject to change and at times, Honda may provide invitation-only funding opportunities to key community partners. Approved funding will be distributed in the spring. If additional information is needed, Honda will contact the organization directly.

Eligibility

Eligible OrganizationsOrganizations must be located in the United States and have tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3), or a public school district, private/public elementary and secondary schools as listed by the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).Organizations must align with Honda and the Honda USA Foundation’s pillar award categories of Education, Environment, Mobility, Traffic Safety and Community. Honda and the Honda USA Foundation are committed to transparency and will ensure that all applicants receive an equal opportunity for funding and favoritism is not awarded to those applicants with ties to Honda.Geographic Scope Funding opportunities are available in communities where our associates live and work. Eligible organizations can be regional or national in scope, but they must focus on and support communities near Honda locations. The states marked on the map shown here are eligible.
