Overview
A 15-week paid internship that builds a network of Oakland young leaders fighting for social justice. Interns learn social justice and job training through community organizing to defund the police and create alternatives to incarceration.- Geographic Scope: Oakland, California
- Age Range: 14-18 years old
- Duration: 15 weeks
- Commitment: 4-6 hours per week (meets twice a week)
- Payment: Paid internship
- Support Provided: Transportation, leadership development, one-on-one mentorship

- Second Cohort: Starts in June (application opens in May)

Cohort Schedule
- Ages 14-18
- Directly or indirectly impacted by incarceration, immigration, or foster care systems
- Family members of those impacted by these systems
