    Program Overview:
    CAPND partners with NDHFA on expanding homeless services across the state. Through this partnership, CAPND leverages its statewide network to deliver critical housing support and stability services to individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

    Core Objective:
    Significantly reduce homelessness and enhance housing stability across the state, providing comprehensive support to eligible individuals and families to achieve and maintain safe, secure housing.

  • Individuals experiencing homelessness

  • Families experiencing homelessness

  • Individuals at risk of homelessness

  • Families at risk of homelessness
  • Services Provided:

  • Rental Assistance: Providing crucial financial support to secure or maintain permanent housing

  • Financial Assistance: Offering flexible aid to address immediate housing-related needs

  • Housing Search and Placement: Guiding individuals and families through the process of finding suitable housing

  • Housing Stability Case Management: Delivering personalized support to navigate challenges and build long-term stability

  • Budget Counseling: Empowering individuals to improve their financial standing through budgeting
  • Program Alignment:
    NDHFA and CAPND are demonstrating a shared commitment to addressing housing instability, strengthening community response, and creating long-term solutions for North Dakotans in need.
