Summary

The Hmong Community Higher Education Scholarship supports Hmong students from Marathon, Lincoln, or Shawano Counties in Wisconsin. It awards scholarships to high school seniors and current college students pursuing any undergraduate degree. Over 200 students will benefit from more than $300,000 in scholarships, emphasizing academic achievement and community commitment. Eligible applicants must demonstrate a GPA of 3.2 or higher for high school seniors and 2.8 for college students, and must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents.

Guided by our vision, purpose, mission, values, and policies, we inspire philanthropic generosity to enhance our community’s quality of life. Scholarships More than 200 students throughout north central Wisconsin, from pre-school to post-graduate, will be awarded scholarships totaling more than $300,000 from the 125 endowed scholarship funds administered within the Community Foundation. Hmong Community Higher Education Scholarship Purpose To award scholarships to outstanding graduating high school seniors and current college students, of Hmong descent, from Marathon, Lincoln, or Shawano Counties, who are pursuing a college degree in any field of study. Awards Scholarships will be awarded to high school graduating seniors and current college students (traditional or non-traditional), pursuing an undergraduate degree in an approved program of study at an accredited college or university. Students are only allowed to receive this award once.
