Program Overview

In an effort to provide more scholarship and increase community presence at Seafair and community events year-round, Hispanic Seafair and LCF created the Hispanic Seafair Ambassador scholarship to grant to a second young Latina alongside the Miss Hispanic Seafair recipient.

2018-2019:
• Denisse Dominguez - Hispanic Seafair Ambassador, received Leadership Development Award for mental health community platform

2017-2018:

Karen Gamez - Hispanic Seafair Ambassador 2017, won 2nd Seafair Princess and scholarship

Program Components

As part of the program experience, participants:
• Join a cohort to develop and execute community service projects
• Attend leadership workshops
• Facilitate community forums
