Program Overview:
A professional development program that sponsors U.S. teachers to travel internationally to countries of their choice, with expectation that they will infuse their K-12 curriculum with cultural knowledge and experiences from their journey.

Eligibility

• U.S. K-12 teachers

Program Components

• International Travel: Teachers travel to country of choice
• School Visits: Educators visit schools in host country to observe teaching techniques
• Cultural Immersion: Direct engagement with local cultures and educational practices
• Curriculum Integration: Upon return, teachers incorporate trek experiences into classroom instruction

Alumni Examples

• Teachers have visited China, South Korea, and other regions
• Participants integrate cultural learning into music, language arts, and other subjects
