Highland Street Foundation Grant

The Highland Street Foundation Grant supports critical needs for children and families in Massachusetts and California. Focused on education, housing, health care, and the arts, it awards grants based on established relationships with nonprofit partners. The foundation does not accept unsolicited proposals and limits submissions to one letter of inquiry per organization each year. Organizations outside the U.S. are not eligible for funding, ensuring support remains local.

The Highland Street Foundation is committed to addressing the most pressing needs and concerns for children and families in Massachusetts and California.
Grants
We award grants to organizations of many different sizes and types, but most often for education, youth programming and mentoring, housing and homelessness prevention, environment, healthcare and the arts. The grants we make tend to stem from the relationships our trustees have built with our nonprofit partners. Therefore, we don’t seek unsolicited grant proposals, and have no open proposal submission deadlines or pre-established funding limits.

Eligibility

We primarily fund programs within Massachusetts, but also provide grants to a limited number of organizations outside the state at the request of our trustees. We only accept only one letter of inquiry per organization per year.

Ineligibility

We do not fund organizations based in countries outside the United States.
