Background: The Highgate Charitable Foundation was formed in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving as a philanthropic vehicle for Highgate associates, guests, suppliers and business partners. The Foundation supports philanthropic organizations and communities worldwide that address issues related to poverty, education and healthcare. Prior to this relief fund, the Foundation actively supported Save The Children and the Aga Khan Foundation, helping nearly 2 million children in the U.S. and around the world access healthcare, education opportunities, and protection from harm.

Funding Sources: Initial $500,000 contribution from Highgate, plus additional donations from Highgate employees, hotel ownership groups, suppliers, business partners and hotel guests
