Tarrant County Bar Foundation Grant Program
Geographic Scope: Tarrant County, Texas and surrounding areas
Overview: The Tarrant County Bar Foundation provides grants to support organizations serving the legal community and public interest. Through generous support from the legal and business communities, the Bar Foundation supports the Bar Center, pro bono programs, community initiatives, and more.
What We Support
The Foundation supports organizations that:
- Provide direct human, health, and welfare services (with preference to 501(c)(3) exempt organizations)
- Provide assistance to persons that are impoverished or victims of natural disaster
- Promote educational development through loans or scholarships to students
- Support charitable and educational purposes which support, promote, and encourage activities for the furtherance of justice and legal research, education, publications, institutes, forums, and the establishment of scholarships

Applicants must submit the following by the April 15 deadline:
1. Completed Grant Application Form (see application_url)
2. IRS Tax Exempt Determination Letter (if applicable)
3. Recent Financial Statement and Balance Sheet
4. Detailed Budget for Project/Program (sample template available on website)
#### Grant Schedule
1. Application submitted by April 15 at Midnight
2. TCBF Board reviews and decides on disbursement in May Board Meeting
3. Grantees contacted with Board's decision by June 15
4. Funds utilized during period of July 1 - June 30
5. Mid-year Grant report due December 31
6. End-of-Year Grant report due following June 30
