Application Process
1. Obtain Application Form: Download fillable 2026 scholarship application form from website or access online application form
2. Complete Application: Fill out all required fields with accurate and complete information
3. Gather Required Materials:
- School academic transcript
- Two letters of recommendation
4. Submit Application: Submit completed application with all attachments by deadline
5. Application Review: Kiwanis member panel reviews applications
6. Finalist Interview: Selected finalists are interviewed by panel
7. Award Notification: Scholarships awarded at June luncheon meeting
Required Application Components
- Personal Information: Name, address, email, phone
- School Information: Name of high school (select from approved list)
- Family Information: Parents' names and occupations
- Financial Information: Parent taxable income, Student Aid Index (SAI), family financial obligations, number of siblings in college
- College Plans: List of colleges applied to and accepted to, total first-year expenses, financial resources available
- Academic/Community Involvement: - Career goals (2 sentences maximum) - Community service activities throughout high school - Work experience during high school - Honors and awards received - School activities with leadership positions - Two most important school/community service/work activities (up to 3 sentences each)
- Essay: "Why Do You Need This Scholarship?"
- Optional: Additional information
- Documentation: School academic transcript and two letters of recommendation
- Agreement: Attestation that all information is accurate and complete
- Signature: Digital signature required
