Herkimer County Grant

The Community Foundation of Herkimer and Oneida Counties invites nonprofit organizations in Herkimer County to apply for the Herkimer County Grant Round, offering up to $15,000 for impactful projects. Eligible applicants include 501(c)(3) organizations, government entities, and educational institutions addressing non-religious needs. Projects must commence no earlier than December 2025 and demonstrate measurable outcomes. Only one application per organization will be accepted for each funding cycle.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization, an organization with a 501(c)(3) fiscal sponsor, governmental institutions, educational institutions, or faith-based organizations seeking support for projects/programs that address non-religious needs or issues, serving diverse constituencies without regard to religious affiliation
Programs or projects in need of funding must begin no earlier than December 2025, and have identifiable and measurable outcomes with a definitive timeline for completion or outcomes to be achievedCriteria:Activities and programs that have meaningful resident and community impactNew building equipment or existing building or equipment repairs

Organizational payroll and operational needs
Expenses already incurred (projects in process/already completed)
