Helen Duranleau-Brennan Theater Scholarship Grant

The Helen Duranleau-Brennan Theater Scholarship, offered by the Quad Cities Community Foundation, supports students pursuing theater studies. Eligible applicants must be graduates from specific Davenport high schools, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and be enrolled in a four-year program or graduate school for theater. This scholarship provides up to $1,000 annually, renewable for up to four years, encouraging students committed to theater-related disciplines and community service.

Today, we award nearly $600,000 annually in scholarships to students in the Quad Cities and beyond.

Eligibility

Scholarship may be awarded to a student and also to a student entering either a 4-year program or graduate school for theater.Applicant must be a graduate of Davenport Assumption High School, Davenport North High School, or John F. Kennedy Catholic School in Davenport.Applicant must be majoring or minoring in theater.Applicant must have at least a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent range).Applicant must plan to enroll or be enrolled in a four-year program or graduate school for theater.Applicant can pursue all theater-related disciplines, including acting, directing, design, and theater arts administration programs.
