Farmington Bank Community Foundation, which continues the 167 year legacy of the former Farmington Bank, provides financial support to non-profit organizations and community programs that help create opportunities for a better life by focusing on economic opportunities, health, and basic needs for the residents of sixteen communities in Central Connecticut.

Health & Human Services: Access to Healthcare and Abuse Prevention

Requests to support community healthcare or access to health care, healthy food; support the prevention or reduction of child, elder, or partner abuse.

Programs must primarily serve residents in one or more of the following towns of Hartford County CT:
Avon, Berlin, Bloomfield, Bristol, Burlington
Canton, Farmington, Hartford, Newington, New Britain
Plainville, Rocky Hill, Simsbury, Southington
West Hartford and Wethersfield
Organizations must be tax exempt under IRS section 501(c)(3).
Religious institutions are not eligible, except for non-sectarian activities that benefit the community at-large.
