Community-based health improvement grants awarded by the Health First Foundation to address health disparities and wellness needs in Brevard County.

Award Amount: Grants totaling over $360,000 awarded to nonprofits (2022-2023 cycle awarded to 12 organizations)

Selection Process:
Applications are evaluated and approved by the Community Health Improvement Committee, comprised of Health First leaders across the system, with consideration for measurable outcomes and community impact.

• WAYS for Life Brevard (healthcare navigation and homelessness prevention)
• Space Coast Blast (adaptive sports programs)
• Streetside Showers (mobile services for indigent residents)
• Health First Aging Services initiatives
