Health First Wellness Grants

Health First awards competitive wellness grants to community-based nonprofits focused on improving wellness and addressing health disparities in Brevard County.

Award Amount: $360,000+ distributed annually to multiple nonprofits (2022-23 cycle awarded $360,000 to 12 organizations)

Geographic Scope: Brevard County, Florida

Focus Areas:

• Health disparities identified in Community Health Needs Assessment
• Mental health and wellness initiatives
• Services supporting youth and families (e.g., homelessness prevention)
• Aging services
• Disability services and inclusive recreation
• Healthcare navigation programs

Eligibility:

• Registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations
• Brevard County-based or serving Brevard County residents
