HCWGMW Donor Advised Fund Grant The HCWGMW Endowment currently supports projects and programs focused on eliminating the cycle of poverty and homelessness with area youth in Pasquotank and Perquimans counties. For 2024, the fund awarded a total of $180,000 in grants to nonprofit programs serving Pasquotank and Perquimans counties through this application-based process. Nonprofits collaborating with other organizations will be considered. Letters of support from the partner organization will be required when submitting. About Since 2016, the HCWGMW Endowment has provided more than $1.2 million in grant funding to nonprofits in the four counties served by the Northern Albemarle Community Foundation.

Eligibility

An organization must meet the following criteria to apply:501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit organizations registered with the IRS Organizations with fiscal sponsor that are 501(c)(3) public charity nonprofit organizations registered with the IRS Local governments (including public schools)Fire and rescue departmentsReligious entities, including churches, congregations and other houses of worship, and/or faith-based organizations whose core functions/operations promote religious doctrine or are restricted to members of a particular faith may apply for funding to support social outreach and charitable service programs to benefit the community-at-large, but they may not apply for general operating support. If an organization serves multiple counties within our network, that organization may complete a separate application for each of those affiliates.Organizations must offer programs and services without discrimination based on age, race, national origin, ethnicity, gender, physical ability, sexual orientation, political affiliation or religious belief.
