Hayner Foundation Grant

The Hayner Foundation, established in 1966 by John and Mary Inez Hayner, aims to support charitable, religious, and educational initiatives in Allen County, Indiana. The Hayner Foundation was established in 1966 by John L. Hayner and Mary Inez Hayner. The Hayners were longtime residents of Fort Wayne, Indiana. John Hayner died on September 5, 1974 and his wife, in 1982.
The Hayner Foundation was created to support religious, charitable and educational purposes, primarily in Allen County, Indiana. There are no program limitations; however, the foundation has a focus on the arts, scholarships at institutions of higher learning, and scientific research, including equipment for such research, at institutions of higher learning. The Foundation, administered by Wells Fargo Bank as trustees, awards an average of 15 grants per year through applications that are reviewed at their annual grant meeting.
