Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri Inc. was established in 2009 as a 501(c)3 public charity to help donors support their favorite charities while receiving maximum tax advantage. We serve as a vehicle for charitable giving, helping donors give to the causes they care about. Donor gifts will strengthen nonprofits increasing programs and services. Harter, Cody Michael Memorial Scholarship This fund was established in memory of Cody Michael Harter by The Harter family and the 180th Airlift Squadron Association to provide academic scholarships to graduating seniors of St. Joseph, MO High Schools. Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed in August.

Eligibility

The students eligible for assistance shall be graduating seniors intending to continue their education through a two- or four-year college and/or technical school.Students must be graduating from one of the following High Schools:Central High SchoolBenton High SchoolLafayette High SchoolStudents must have a 2.0 GPA or higher. Students must participate in motocross, wrestling or play a musical instrument.Students must show financial need.
