Harry S. and Isabel C. Cameron Foundation

The Harry S. and Isabel C. Cameron Foundation was established by Isabel Cameron on March 11, 1966. Shortly after, Isabel Cameron died on November 23, 1967, but continued her commitment to charitable gifting by leaving three-fourths of her estate to the Cameron Foundation. Through our competitive grant-making process, we support the needs of qualified 501(c)(3) organization, be they religious, charitable, educational, scientific, literary, or artistic, with a special interest in the needs of those in the Catholic community.

Our Community

The Harry S. and Isabel C. Cameron Foundation helps provide for the needs and well being of institutions and peoples within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, with particular emphasis on Catholic affiliated charitable endeavors.

The Foundation was created to promote compassionate giving that serves the needs of our community, be they religious, charitable, educational, scientific, literary, and the arts, within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.
