The Harlene and Marvin Wool Foundation supports organizations seeking to improve the lives of people in the St. Louis Community.
The approach to education should encompass the whole person including emotional, social and physical growth. Through our grant making, our foundation works with community-based organizations that engage and advance academic learning and skill building.Health & Wellness: Consistent with the mission of the Harlene and Marvin Wool Foundation, funding is provided to ensure access to basic services that support the well-being of children, youth, families, and communities. Awareness, education, prevention, and treatment are key components that the Harlene and Marvin Wool Foundation supports.Community & Cultural Engagement: The organizations receiving grants reflect the Foundation’s commitment to strengthening the lives of St. Louisans by developing and encouraging various cultural and community institutions and organizations, as well as providing activities that enrich the community and its beauty. Many of these institutions are at the forefront of their field and recognized far beyond the St. Louis region, elevating the entire local community.Family & Child Empowerment: The Foundation funds organizations that positively impact the health and wellbeing of children and their families. These organizations provide food and shelter, healthcare, educational support, and counseling services for families and children. An emphasis is placed on the needs of at-risk and under-resourced children and families with the goal of keeping kids safe and building strong family environments.

Eligibility

Applicants must have 501(c)(3) determination from the US Internal Revenue Service.
Programs must operate within the United States, with preference to those focusing on the Greater St. Louis Area.
Grants may be considered for operational funding, specific programs or projects and capital campaigns.

Religious groups promoting a specific doctrine or doctrines
Organizations that discriminate on the basis of race, sex, sexual orientation, age, or religion
